Research Update on HIV Chronic Inflammation
Kristine Erlandson MD
University of Colorado
We now have very effective medications to treat HIV with few side effects, so most young university researchers/investigators in the field of HIV are more interested in studying the chronic inflammation caused by ongoing HIV infection: health issues and possible treatments. Come get a great update from our friend and “researcher-extraordinaire” from UC. Kristine will present what research has been done & what we have learned; what hasn’t been done; what research is ongoing; and what research do we want to do next.
