The mission of Treatment Educat10n Network (TEN) is to educate and empower individuals with HIV by providing information, skills, and knowledge, in a proactive and supportive environment.

We believe, and research has proven, that persons who are informed and educated about all aspects of HIV have better overall health outcomes. In addition, we believe that people who are proactive and empowered in their personal health also have improved physical health and emotional well-being.

"Knowledge is power ... it's no longer about dying of AIDS, it's about Living with HIV."

The goal of our activities is the sharing of knowledge and experiences about living well with HIV (not just longer) through peer-led programming, information dissemination, linkage to care, support services, peer-advocacy, and peer-based education. We also provide services to the broader community to increase HIV knowledge and sensitivity, and to reduce the risk of infection.

TEN strives to achieve its goals and mission by providing the following programs:
  • HIV Retreat at Shadowcliff
  • Monthly Educational Forums
  • "UB2" Poz Social Group
  • On The Ten Newsletter
  • On-Line Discussion Forums
Treatment Educat10n Network (TEN) is an all volunteer grass-roots non-profit (501(3)(c) organization. We welcome any and all volunteers to assist with any of our programs. Please contact us if you are interested in getting involved.
